This was a great match between two local sides under lights on Friday 28/12/18 who have had many years of history together... as well as many great memories!

In typical Butleigh fashion the scoring system was altered to incorporate the 'Stalwarts' of the game to allow any try from a player 50+ to be counted as double points!

Surprisingly this approach worked extremely well!

This meant that the veterans of the game became the centre of attention, to which Malcolm Dykes scooped man of the match for his valiant display... including a Johnny Wilkinson style conversion!

Unfortunately, due to this altering of the scoring system both sides were unable to decide on the final score!

This was a happy ending to 2018, to which Tor Seniors ended their first half of the season on a high... ROLL ON 2019!

Pictures from the game are also on the website in the Gallery section. ENJOY!
